Paid PhilHealth for the first time, can I use it immediately?

No.

    The answer is generally for IPMs and employed sector but OFWs and sponsored program members may immediately use PhilHealth benefits depending on the effectivity date reflected in your Member Data Record.

    OFWs are the only exception. Sponsored program members don't pay premiums.
